JJ is natural leader and diligent director of design teams. In my time working with JJ I found him to be a highly motivated, value driven UX design consultant. I was most notably impressed by his ability to interface with the business, garner support from stakeholders and propose innovative design solutions when responding to complicated UX problems. We worked together with Business Analysts, Architects and Service Designers to define user stories, task flows and wireframes that would inform the analysis of user centred design proposals. The deliverables culminated in pixel perfect user interface design work that JJ was responsible for. The visual design background he draws on allows him to cover Interaction Design, Digital Media Management and client facing demos where his well attuned presentation skills truly, come to the fore.

I had the pleasure of working with JJ for 5 months at Clarksons. A great person to have around in the team, excellent designer and a strong work ethic, taking ownership of all products and requirements he was assigned.

I had the pleasure of working with JJ for over 10 months on the same project. During this time he constantly showed how keen he was to learn new things and improve existing patterns we were using, helping the team develop and be more effective. Paying attention to details and always trying new things, he collaborated really well with other team members, showed initiative and has constantly surprised with new ideas not just about the design but also about how the process in which it should be implemented. While he focuses on the visual side of things, his design method always questions the functionality and the ease of use of the interfaces he has created, easily allowing him to function as a multidisciplinary designer, covering visual design, UX and interaction design
